How to enjoy this fruit
Small, dried berry halves containing the fruit's flesh and a hard seed. They are light and dry rather than juicy.
Do not chew or swallow the hard seed. The taste-changing effect is temporary and varies from person to person.
When it’s ready
These berries have already been freeze-dried. Keep them dry until you want to use them; there is no need to soften, ripen or rehydrate them first.
How to eat it
Rinse your mouth with plain water. Place one berry, supplied as two halves, in your mouth and gently work the flesh around your tongue. Remove and discard the seed without chewing it. Wait about 30–60 seconds, then try a small taste of sour fruit, such as lemon, to experience the change in flavour.
How to store it
Keep the pack tightly sealed in a cool, dry place, away from heat and humidity. Reseal promptly after opening and follow any storage or best-before instructions on the pack.
