Each month, we assemble a small-batch selection of rare and exceptional fruits — chosen for flavour, seasonality, and character. Nothing inside is selected to be ordinary, and no two boxes are the same. We ship out around the 1st of every month. 

What this is

The Rare Fruit Box is a curated tasting experience, delivered fresh.

Each box includes:

• 4–7 different fruits
• A mix of rare, exotic, and premium seasonal varieties
• Fruits chosen for contrast — sweetness, acidity, texture, aroma

The selection changes every month and is never repeated in the same format.

Some of the many fruits from the boxes over the last few months

• Monstera Fruit — The fruit of the monstera plant, when ripe, tastes of banana, pineapple, custard apple and a hint of coconut. (included for subscribers only)
• IceCream Bean — Very rare fruit with texture of cotton/candy floss and sweet flavor
• Black Sapote — Also known as the chocolate pudding fruit, this fruit is green from the outside and dark brown from the inside when ripe. Tastes very creamy with a hint of sweetness, just like pudding! (Usually for subscribers only when included in the box)
• Blue Java Banana — the famous icecream banana, one of the creamiest bananas when fully ripe, very dense and rich flavor, and a bigger banana than the supermarket cavendish
• Green/Red Matoa — Very sweet fruit, with hints of durian, lychee and longan combined
• StarFruit — a star shaped fruit, with a tangy but sweet flavor. Unique looking and tasting fruit. 

Each fruit is selected for how it contributes to the overall tasting — contrast, progression, and balance.

Each box follows a simple structure:

• Something indulgent — to anchor the experience
• Something unfamiliar — included as a tasting, not a commitment
• Something memorable — chosen for character, not volume

This ensures the experience feels complete even if one fruit isn’t your personal favourite.

How much fruit is included

Each box contains approximately 2.5 - 4 kg of fresh fruit.

We don’t optimise for weight.

Common questions

Will I recognize all the fruits?
No — and that’s intentional.

What if I don’t like one of the fruits?
That happens occasionally. The box is curated so the experience remains worthwhile regardless.

How often does the selection change?
Every month. Next shipments start 28th July
